A BIG well done Rian And well done all the members from here that donated Over £1500 now raised just fantastic Thank you Dan. I am really so thankful to every person from everywhere who helped us, and it certainly became an "US" attempt, to collect such a bug number. I suspect and hope a few more people from elsewhere will contribute, but the Internet collection, in my view has more than exceeded expectations and dreams. I am glad that I put the effort into this.

Before we went off to the Alpaca BBQ this little Boat tailed Austin was parked up across the street from Katy's place. There are a lot of vintage cars to be seen in Surrey ( on the Surrey/Sussex/Kent borders) and they always make me smile as people use them regularly. Just lovely and small. All the parts on it are dainty and beautifully made. Spoke to the owner as well and made a little video as he left, but YouTube is not cooperating today. The BBQ was lovely, with the hosts Phil and Kay making one instantly at home. Phil is also an engineer, so I enjoyed it even more. Along with a beer or two, and the ever inquisitive alpacas who were rescued from a river a few years ago when there were floods here. They love company and will steal food off the table if you let them. Lastly....... Through the day a few more donations came in, big and little, every one welcome. And we went through the tracked £1500.00 mark. I was as chuffed as anything. These donations landed us at £1516.00Which looks so impressive in South African Rands. Of which there were some donations as well, thank you again. So lastly, I just want to raise a toast to every person who in one or another way, contributed, encouraged and tolerated me the last few weeks while I banged this drum for collecting funds for the charity. Thank you all !! Half of Sunday to go......

Thought I was done with this fund raiser. Well, seems not quite. Firstly, MiataMark saw this awesome little key ring and got it for me. Reminder of the ride in the TuTu Thanks mate !! Secondly. THIS ONE IS FOR EVERY ONE OF YOU....!!My Boss' Boss' Boss is Dan, who was the primary driving force in getting this fund raiser going for the kids. Today he sent me a personal email. (At this point he has no clue who exactly I am, would not recognise me if I walked into a room) So the thanks goes to everybody who helped get this number up there, despite it grinding to a halt at 93% meaning they still have a ways to go to get to the £25.000.00 target. It has been a good day.

Bit like a Medusa..... Chop off a head and another two grows...... Thanks Tim. It did indeed make me smile. Boosted my morale for sure. This makes the "Internet donations" move up to £1521.00 in traceable donations. Let's see what today brings.

As time marches on....... Thank you to FreshandMinty for carrying on and donating to the children's charity even after the ride. The charity is still open and donations continue to trickle in, getting closer to their target. London beckons again today. Looking forward to the weekend as I have Friday off in lieu of working he 1st July. Mini long weekend.
