Hello all, so I have had this old girl for 10 nearly 11 years and just want to know what people think she is worth as I don't see them for sale much and I am undecided what to do with her, anywho the car...
1963 ford zephyr 4 but first registered in 1971, I have been told that this is because it may have been an MOD vechicle first. As a result it has an age related plate, its original plate can still be seen printed on all the glass. The car is partially stripped with all of the front end stripped down, bonnet, wings, front panel, engine, gearbox all removed. She needs welding doing as the inner wings as they have been hacked and patched in the past. There is rot in the bottom of the A posts, inners sills where they meet and front foot wells. The gutter rails will need some work too. I have the engine, box and prop still as well as a spare engine from a mk2 consul and spare head. I also have a load of paperwork and books with the car, some history digging a previous owner did finding all the previous owners from first registration, a parts catologue book, service and repair book, original owners booklet and mini repair booklet.
The car has 99% of the parts to put her back together, I say this as I cant guarenty everthing is there as I didnt strip it down. She will also come with some bits from a donar car I had which are, 4 complete doors, front and rear windscreen, front and rear seats, boot lid, front struts (from a mk4 apparently), rear leaf springs, some dash trim, grill, headlight surounds, rear lights, set of centerline style steels with tyres but the fronts both leak from the bead seat, sized 15×5.5 and 15×7.
