Could you possibly throw a coat of paint on the discs? Black Grey

I actually quite like the moonies, didnt think I would. Now that all the chrome bits are on it just seems to go.

I'm a fan of the discs, they go with the chrome light trims and bumper etc.
It could do with less tyre at the front if that's at all possible (I think the AWD system has been referred to as a barrier before) but only minor pickings...
Hats off for your faux patina on the repairs, it really blends in!

To be honest I don't like the Moon Discs, they make it look ordinary that's been done before.
It look nice and tasty with the black steel rims showing keeping them standard shows off the body which is the best part.
Sorry to say that but the discs just take the eye immediately to the wheels.

Painting them isn't a bad idea! We have these big shiny truck mirrors that are going on it. It will change the look and feel of the thing. I'll decide what to do about the wheels, if anything later. It's getting good response on the internet so far. Hope it brings strong $$.
The fun part is going to be taking it to the car shows. That is going to be hilarious!

not really sure about the wheels but would not know what to advise, think I like the drivers side zheels better than the dics.

Awesome work
The moon discs look better with the chrome bumper but the black steels are killer
But, give the buyer the choice and away you go!

Awesome, but to me there's something not right about the size of the front wheel/tyre combo, looks too big. Might be the camera angle though.

Yes, Camaro Bumpers front and rear. Bought cheap second hand. Flipped the Camaro bumper upside down for a different look. 1970 or 74 I think? The front and rear tires are the exact same sizes. The front track is a little wider on the Durango trucks. It is wider in front than in back. They all are. All comments are welcome and approved! I'm a fan of big fat wide tires and that's what I'll always use. When someone says "use smaller tires" argh lol never I say! Never haha I'd make everything a monster truck if I could...

it doesnt look massively different from the "2 months ago" picture which in my opinion is a compliment !
there has been a monumental change to the vehicle of course, and huge amounts of work, but the fact you cant see it all at first glance, that surprise factor, wets my whistle.

Have you had it down the road yet?
Curious what the bodywork is going to be thinking when it gets up to about 80 mph? What do you figure it previous top speed was in its previous life? Maybe 50 mph?

I'd never say fit smaller wheels, now you've described it the wider front track is the cause. Apart from changing the offset on the front wheels not a lot you can do about it.

So true, so true. The tires are right up against the upper ball joint as it is, so I'd have to change the offset, then fit skinnier tires for almost the same thing. Hence the wheel arch chop. Some guys use the Chevy S-10 frame or the Dodge Dakota frame for these types of swaps, so that they can bag the suspension and drop the body down over the wheels with no arch modification. I don't like narrow chassis. I like 'em just like I like my women.. With a big fat lol

Oh and no, It's not been any faster than parking lot pace as of yet. It's probably going to curse word itself when it hits 70!

I have a 50 second video clip in small format, around 3.5mg of it spinning all four tires if someone can host it. I didn't want to upload it to you tube but it's already up on Paul Grenade Facebook, you just can't hot link to FB stuff because they're nazis. Fun stuff!
