The Hessisch Oldendorf VW Veterantreffen is held every four years and is heaven for anyone in to old Volkswagens. The whole town is taken over by the oldest and most obscure aircooled stuff you could imagine.
We flew over to Hannover on Friday, picked up a VW T6 minibus we'd hired, drove 40 miles or so down to our hotel in Rinteln (lovely place!), then on Saturday we went straight over to Hessisch Oldendorf for the day. Spent the whole day there, then back on Sunday morning, before flying home later that day. Not a bad way to spend a weekend!

I'll post some highlights.
I should point out that my vintage VW nerdery isn't particularly strong (although it should be really given how much time I spend around the things) so if you spot anything interesting about any of the cars please tell me, I need to learn more about what I saw!
