Hi All
Sadly need to sell my Saab (Sally) so I can get another one but with a turbo. We bought her back in January to use for the Crumball banger rally and a European road trip and she did not disappoint. We manged 2224 miles in 8 days through 7 countries in 35+degree temperatures and 2400m climbs up various alps and she didn't miss a beat over heat or anything. I have also used it as my daily before the run and have been since being back and still no issues. used no oil water or anything. even with 2 laps of the Nurburgring under her belt.

We serviced her before going including oil + filter, air filter, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor arm, coolant flush and renew, brake fluid change and 4 new tyres and a new crank sensor which packed up whilst she was being MOT'd most inconvenient. We also removed the rear seats, sadly some of the brackets were not in good shape so its now a 2 seater only/racecar. Also the air bag light came on before take 2 of the MOT due to a flat battery to solve this I have simply taken the bulb out and popped some take over the caution light but it does make a ding dong noise when started. Maybe not the right thing to do but didn't want to get involved with diag work on a car of this age and value.
Now it wasn't always red and white believe it or not but we needed to do something fun for the rally we finished it at 2am before having to leave a few hours later this does show and its far from a show finish unless you close your eyes then its spot on. There is also a small patch at the bottom of the door which is very visabale but adds to the character and is better than rust. Inside its finished in plush grey velour which was very comfy expect for the lack of air con the steering wheel also has a tear in the cover due to previous owners driving with a Dominic Torreto style, she also has 3 working speakers but no radio included.
Private plate not included in the £250 however would be available if agreed. it is still on the car. would be a shame to let it go to scrap. 10/11 months mot remaining
