Wish was that simple dark speed It can only be plumbed in one way as it's a std regulator and fits on end of rail and can only go on one way

I should think it's probably just jealous of the other cars. Perhaps hide them all next door and see if the problem is still occurring?

yep a damaged, kinked pipe would give you a pressure reading the same as it should be but you would lack flow. External fuel pump fittings been fitted with PTFE? is some in the pipe causing a flow restriction?

Yeah gonna check the fuel lines under car for kinks when I get chance The pump and filter runs doughty seals and banjo affair with plastic pipes until further along under chassis were they are metal

Not sure how plausible this is as I've only ever seen it on a rally car after a big hit/dent, but could the fuel pickup be vacuuming itself to the bottom of the fuel tank? Pump is externally mounted :/ Yeah the pickup in the tank isn't though.

Pickup from tank to pump is a 5/8 ish size boss coming out of side @ lowest point of tank directly - fuel pump then through filter and reduced down to 8mm plastic pipes Actual tank outlet is clean and free

Yes partly although just waiting on parts to arrive to double check Amongst other things inc a leaky fuel feed pipe Faulty fpr and also a faulty ecu temp sensor that was new
Like I say waiting for a new regulator to check if it's cured it

Watching this with interest as I also have a laid up Cossie that will hopefully see the light of day at some point!!!
Sounds like you're on the right path but it's always worth (not saying you haven't already) from the ECU wiring back, ie ECU unplugged, test sensors that way, often highlights poor connections etc.
I helped a chap it before with his one and it turned out to be a melted lambda sensor section of wiring (late 4x4 saph) dragging the voltage down.
We found a load of other things wrong too on a supposedly new wiring loom.
Can't wait to see the positive outcome of this.
BTW proper dream selection of cars in that garage!!!!
