I actually really like this... Id be happy with one of those too, with that facelift. One thing getting up my nose today, simply becaue i never liked them and ive seen 3 today, is because whatever stickers, usualy up the a pillar obstructing view. For some reason today i saw 3 because vauxhall stickers, one may have been the same car twice. To be quite honest, I don't care, i didnt even ask why!!!

Does anyone else HATE the door mirrors that automatically angle down when reverse gear is engaged? Fine if you want to see a kerb when parallel parking, a total PITA when trying to reverse up a long narrow alley or reverse a trailer! I just found out today that you can turn this off using the electric mirror switch on BMWs Move the selector to "drivers side" adjustment and the passenger mirror tilts down when you reverse Move the selector to "passenger side" and it doesn't

On our lease Fabia estate there's nowhere to hang the filler lid when filling up, so you hold onto it while filling or dangle it down the rear 1/4? Should be somewhere you can hang it from!!! There is on other models! The filler cap should have a slot in it so you can park it on top of the flap.

Quick google looks like your right, I'll check later on But surely that'll damage the paintwork? Most cars have ways of hanging them inside the cap area?

I work in a bodyshop, and many modern VW/Audi front wings are an absolute pig to get off come replacement time, owing to awkward bolts hidden right at the top near the windscreen, and just below where the back of the bonnet opens - trying to reach in there with a Torx wrench or spanner is very tricky, and VAG do these bolts up pretty damn tight! Sometimes, we have to resort to cutting the wing off, just to even access the bolts, or if they are impossible to otherwise budge. Once, I even accidentally cracked the windscreen on a Lupo trying to re-tighten the bolt after fitting a new wing, they are that close to a pretty thin and easily damaged screen - that cost £200 for a replacement. Also, many moderns have daft bits of foam rubber (presumably to reduce vibration) stuck between the front wing and body, that soak up and hold water like a sponge - making for terrific rust-traps.

decals on cars (mainly Rally cars) As for this example, i'd expect it to be the same on the other side but it wont be as the head of the dragon will be at the rear of the car :

That'd be the correct way on the n/s too, the graphics are bought handed.

no particular culprit....but fake exhausts in general! just why? also nominate vw (amongst others) for being too tight to produce a specific side panel for vans that don't have twin side loading doors (or single door in "other" markets for the pedants amongst us!) which doesn't have a recess for the slider rail.

That is a design feature intended to kill the car before its time so the customer has to buy another new car.

But it is usually in place for sound suppression. Big hollow panels resonate.

This car annoys me. The colour annoys me. The spoiler annoys me. The number plate annoys me. Even having the image inside my phone annoys me. Enjoy.

People who think it's clever to replace a battery light bulb with an LED then sell the car leaving me scratching my head, and on that the design to release the headlight switch on a Vectra B, that requires it to be released to access the clips that release it...
