Just to get an idea of what it might be worth, my father in law is looking to get shot of his '96 (I think - as it's always had a private plate on it) 2nd generation Lexus LS400. It's done just over 100k miles, has been serviced at Main Dealers up until the last 3 or 4 years, and from then on at a local garage. It's white & MOT'd until August. There's a slight exhaust blow which he has been told is close to the flanges on one of the cats. There is also (apparently) some bodywork that will need sorting but he didn't specify what. Overall, it is a clean car for its age but will need a few minor jobs doing. Aircon is ice cold, loads of usual Lexus stuff from that age of vehicle, all working. Wheels were refurbished about 8 years ago and still look good.
I actually had this as my wedding car 7 years ago. It's always been looked after but is just not being used very much so is surplus to his requirements. I'm afraid I don't have any photos at the moment but take my word for it - it is a clean well-looked after car. However, there is the exhaust blow which will need attention and it does have the short MOT. I reckon it's worth at least £500 of anybody's money.
What are your thoughts everyone?
