Very nicely done, do you do this as a job or just a hobby?

Hi there
I do this for a living. I have been refurbishing campers and motor homes for 30 years but nowadays concentrate on conversions.
I often build one offs to order to suit a customers needs.

Great work. I've just read through a few of your camper threads on here, and am impressed by the quality and turnaround time! I always imagined converting a fan into a camper to a reasonable standard wouldn't be too difficult. However, looking at your skills and the finished work, I'd say it looks fiddly as anything - decent skills clearly required!

You are quite right about the fiddly bit.
The key to success is planning and patience.
The hardest part is getting everything to fit neatly, all the units have to be individually scribed to fit which can take a bit of doing.
All in all just you just have to take your time and it all works out.

Got a bit carried away today and did some paint repairs.
Wet flatted some of the scratches on the sides and machine polished before fitting some graphics.
I don't normally fit graphics but I think they make it look less like a van.
Hopefully she will sell fairly quickly as I have another coming at the weekend.

Mate that looks brilliant, but can I ask why you never put a window in the back at the offside? the cooker area seems so dark without one

What looks right is not necessarily right, but what looks wrong is definitely not right!

Hi there
I do usually fit a window on the offside but decided to do this one slightly differently.
These vans usually sell to older people, walkers and fishermen who want more of a day van and occaisional camper so I have deleted the window and the Heki roof vent.
This means I can sell at a lower price but I can retrofit either in less than a day if required.
