I have a Mk2 GTD (1991 intercooled model) which I am sadly going to have to sell..I did want to get everything sorted cos it's a great car but that's not an option right now so will have to go as is, more or less.
It's not in amazing shape but it is MOT'd for the next 10 months and drives ok.
I have seen these go for quite a bit on ebay, I know they're getting rarer all the time but I could use a little guidance on what to ask for this, given it's condition.
It's at about 190,000 miles I think
Here's a list of all known faults
*r wheel bearing needs done
*grinding from f end on hard lock (suspect inner CV joint or driveshaft)
*plate that compresses gearstick is broken. Still shifts but a bit wobbly.. I would replace it but I can't find the part..
*Rust on doors and a few points on bodywork. Otherwise it's solid structurally
*Tabs on radiator that hold fan on are broken, not sure how to fix this without relacing radiator.
*Paint is faded and inside has various cracks to plastics on doors

*Cambelt done a couple of years ago
*Lighting upgrade loom
*F wheel bearings just replaced
*Easily the most reliable car I've ever owned.. Literally used it daily for 5 years with no issues!
I could do some of these jobs but not all so I'm not sure if theres much point in doing anything as it's probably not going to make a big difference to the overall value?
