Got it MOT'd yesterday, failed on bulb and wiper. It's such a relief not to be dominated by the stink of petrol and smoking from the exhaust, how can that be normal! Emissions test was a1 - was dreading it.

So what was the fuelling problem in the end? I feel like I should be sending a "Congratulations on the birth of your child" card, it's been like a gestation period!

The injectors were shot, three were just completely blocked/open. As soon as I got them repaired the months of fume filled garage ended. It has always stank of fuel, but there's not a whiff of it now and it never smokes. Boost is definitely no doing what it should on the second turbo, it just massively hesitates on crossover but at least it works. A solenoid or valve no doubt.
