Was going to post the following ad when I came across the "what's it worth" section. Thought I'd give it a go!
I have a rough idea but always good to get opinions from others.
Pontiac Engine from 1967 Firebird HO
Great for a hotrod project or a Pontiac in need of a new engine.
326 Cubic Inch Capacity
High Output Variant
285 hp (213 kW; 289 PS)
Torque 359lb/ft (487nm) @ 3200rpm
4 Barrel Edelbrock Carburetor
10.5:1 Compression Ratio
Vehicle has 65000 miles on the clock, engine PROBABLY has 165000 as 65000 seems too little in 50 years (engine is original with car).
Previous owner has repainted engine in original Pontiac blue at some point but I have no receipts or evidence of significant rebuild in it's 65000-165000 mile life.
Smokes a little from right bank on cold starts, clears up after long drive. Seems to improve when used weekly.
Still pulls great through rev range, Would include belts, alternator, waterpump, radiator etc.
Still in vehicle so can be heard running.
Saginaw 3 Speed Manual Gearbox
Ratios
1st Gear 2.54
2nd Gear 1.5
3rd Gear 1
Includes Clutch and Flywheel.
Neither Engine or Gearbox leak oil or other fluids. Ideally sold together!
