following a long full rebuild, it's finally ready for its bench test before going back in the car Race head, with titanium BMW 318 valves Ported, polished, new stem seals and valves Skimmed and compression To 10:1 New Pistons and liners, with larger pockets machined into pistons Big and little ends Crank profiled and polished and balanced Flywheel lightened 10541 cam on Inlet side 90degree ram pipes, with large chokes and longer intake tract

looks nice, guess the cams aren't too wild as 10-1 isn't much compression?

This is it home, but been out for 2 years. As it's only a 1300 I'm looking for more torque, rather than hp. Before it blew it had 105bhp, hoping for maybe 120bhp, but much better drivability. Standard compression is 9:1.

Such a nice looking engine that You sure you really want to refit it as if was me I'd be tempted to leave it on the stand and put it in my living room hahaha

Engine looks ace. Love the look of the black crackle finish against the clean metal, and the orange leads really set it off. It seems a shame to hide it in a car really but that Alfa needs to be blatting down some twisty B roads making naughty engine sounds.
