1981 Sherpa 1.7 Camper - Oops i've done it again...

I basically took the description that mentioned the amount of rust to mean its this that needs the most attention...

"the underside seems solid enough from what we can see, it has had previous repairs down both sides where these normally start to rust, the doors are ok to the front and good on the rear, the front wings will repair as will the bonnet, the inner engine compartment lower panels require some plating as does the panel that retains the bonnet catch"

This doesn't cover most of the problems the van has, especially the arch lifting off off the body and the holes in the rear panel

If he had covered these points in the listing, then I wouldn't have bid.

The fact I could see outside of the van THROUGH the bodywork meant the inspection didn't bode well

you,d need a serious love of sherpas to even begin to think of towing that back home
it,d probably cost a couple of grand just to get it to an MOT standard ie pretty low.
what are the chances of a long standing o series lump moving under its own steam too?
