My last build thread was of my Audi 100 which was a car that I believed was cursed. It got written off about a year a go.
Whilst sorting the insurance I found a mk3 golf sitting at the side of the road next to my brother in laws unit.
A note later and a deal was done for £100.
The car had crash damage to the front end (bumper, grill, headlights and bonnet smashed. But that was all I knew about it.
It wasn't until a month or so later that I got over to see it.
Found out it was an AAZ 1.9 TD with 72 thousand on the clock. Thd car came with a spare wing and a pair of Votex roof bars with lock and keys etc (worth about 100 quid themselves).
Oh! And a private plate
It wasn't until December that I actually moved the car over to mine after bodging in some headlights and strapping the bonnet down with a bungee.
Not much happened till New Year's Eve when me and a mate rebuilt the front end up with a Vento front end and other bits I've scrounged off mates!!!
