After concidering what i could buy with my very limited budjet that had to be estate RWD and fun without costing the world to run i decided i wanted a turbo again to make the choice that bit more dificult i did my research and decieded a volvo was the way to go and after dismssing loads this one came up it was cheap has all the mods i would do myself and parts to take it to the next level so a deal was done and i jumped on a train to go and collect it . Here some of the pics that got me hooked The spec upto now is fully polly bushed lowered springs bilstien shocks 17 wheels and track day tyres double rear anti roll bars strut brace exhaust 2,5 system no cat cone filter Chips 850R injectors MBC Race coil 850R front brakes 1 bar of boost Parts it came with 16t turbo 3" down pipe 960 maf 960 throttle body dog dish fly wheel to ge rid of the duel mass Ive fitted a boost and AFM guage 6th & 7th seats in the boot Missing trim and indicators Black dash trim Plus some titivating and new silicone hoses and all service parts to go give it all it needs to make it run a dream then when money allows a stage 3 clutch and start fitting the new speed parts along with a new cam and big intercooler and aim for the 300bhp mark

Looks good that. My old man had one, I'd forgotten about those seats in the boot! What nut job would put their kids in the back of that.....

That looks a good one especially with all the parts. I've fitted a solid clutch on mine and done a fair bit else to it over the years. If you have any questions I will do my best to help. Sure I have seen the car elsewhere, possibly on the owners club forum.

After lots of daily use n saving up for the parts I needed to do the jobs it needed. So it's finally in bits Bigger turbo and exhaust fitted Head removed now and being skimmed B cam needs machining and fuel rail modifying then put it back together with big cossi intercooler, fuel pressure reg , 960 maf , better guages ( boost after and oil pressure) A full set of oil seals to keep the boost in and a dog dish flywheel and fast road clutch to put the power down I've fitted heavy duty rear springs and chopped them Wheel adapters to bmw so I can share wheels with my van Finally a bucket seat for the drivers side so I don't slide off the side of the seat going up the hill at the gathering

Looks mega cool. Do these have a LSD in the back? No, but there's enough room in the back for a mattress so you can go camping and take a load of LSD instead. EDIT: I actually have no idea.

I like it : )
I'm not much of a Volvo enthusiast, but my Daily is a '00 V70XC turbo that I've become quite fond of. It's a very similar color to yours. I can see why people get enthusiastic about these cars.
Are all the mentioned upgrades bolted on yet?

funny that neither was I but after you get one they are so well engineered you can't help but like them n it's so much fun No not done all the jobs yet just been getting my 2nd set of wheels on and ready as plans have changed A bit because it's going to stay as my 2nd car so it's become more track focused starting with some weight shedding a bigger ali rad better guages A hydraulic hand brake for auto solo amongst the above mods and a bit of welding Plan is to make it as versatile as possible for as many types of cheap motorsport as I can have a go at and just really have fun with it. But I've got to finish off my commer van and move it on before It can have it's turn
