So. I answered a "free" ad and got these teak framed windows free. DSC_0719 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0720 by quickrack, on Flickr They are going to end up giving us some sort of sunroom. Wife was happy with them so I'd say a plan is forming....... Also. A friend who has loaned me a carburettor announced he needed a diff. I happened to know where one might be. This happened DSC_0726 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0725 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0728 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0727 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0730 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0729 by quickrack, on Flickr received_1729624933738550 by quickrack, on Flickr received_1729625097071867 by quickrack, on Flickr I had to bring son No2 to a college (NUIG) for Open Day and it happens to be near where Johnny lives so it worked out nicely. He has fitted the diff and its nice and quiet. While in Galway I spotted this genius level security @ Halfords. DSC_0735 by quickrack, on Flickr Then this arrived in the post. DSC_0737 by quickrack, on Flickr Now I can fix the glued in stud on the inlet manifold. Might even end up with a running car ......who know..... Comments, thoughts, abuse etc welcome Cheers, Alan.

Recently picked up two trailer loads free "firewood". I reckon about half will end up burned. DSC_1142 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_1137 by quickrack, on Flickr Imagine burning those crates?? Would be, as the old people say, "a sin" lol. And see the bench behind ?? Perfectly intact and usable but was in a car I saved from the scrappier. Donor bits for a set of wheels I got years ago. DSC_1002 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_1010 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_1012 by quickrack, on Flickr And this was in the boot. Weighs just under 6KG DSC_1017 by quickrack, on Flickr Had to visit my sister in hospital in Sligo. Went for a walk after and spotted this sign on Chambers across the road from the Courthouse. You could'nt make this stuff up DSC_1040 by quickrack, on Flickr Bunch of freebies I got from the local bike shop. DSC_1065 by quickrack, on Flickr They will go in to some sort of junk art eventually. This amused me. IMG_20171129_205544_261 by quickrack, on Flickr Sanded and painted (satin black) a set of wheels for the RS DSC_0991 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0992 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_0997 by quickrack, on Flickr Spent a vast amount of time and energy getting this to print in time for pre-Christmas posting. Hi. Life gets busy sometimes. Organising the Swapmeet took a VAST amount of effort and time. And I've mostly recovered now. Last week I started digging with the screwdriver of doom into my XR3i Its a little rusty in places IMG_20180311_222628_880 by quickrack, on Flickr But seeing as I'd need my welder to fix that mess and it wasn't working...... So to get the hand back in practise I knocked up these. DSC_1590 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_1589 by quickrack, on Flickr Just to clean them up and laquer them now.
