In the 90's, Which Kit? magazine had a unique 6-wheeled version of the NCF Diamond utility vehicle, which they used to cart all their stand equipment and magazines to shows. I can only find a pic of a standard 4-wheeler.

Don't know what it is, but it showed up on farcebook the other day and i thought it looked pretty cool! I was thinking its got to be VW based, but I don't think it is. Think I can see a little bit of shock above front wheel but I think its in the wrong place. I'm sure you would see some beam through the front wheel and it looks like the filler, and therefore fuel tank, is in the back. Maybe its a prop?

I'm loving the inclusion of Landies / military vehicles. I could probably overwhelm the thread with pictures of such beasts! I'll start off gently with some more along the lines of previous posts though... {snip} OK, the Supacat Coyote / HMT600 might not be 'Retro' but, as I understand it, they are in territory we sometimes get into ie no longer in production & (stretching it even further) a future 'classic' IMHO. Some of the enclosed cab models have been sold off too. So, as a pretty mild example of what could be done, how about the Bloodhound SSC support vehicle: "Quiver #1":
Maybe slightly less of a 'monster' but, as it does meet the RR criteria, I feel the Coyote's predecessor from the Supacat stable should get a mention
ATMP 'gunship':
Although they couldn't stretch to the traditional Army Boiling Vessel, its nice to see that a 'Norgie container' (bungeed on near the spare!) has been provided instead For a 'Government Issue' monster Perentie it has to be the Long Range Patrol Vehicle (LRPV) variant! (Courtesy of the Australian Defence Force) As has been said, they are coming onto the market in larger numbers now so I'd love to see people doing even more of this sort of stuff (these were a couple of rare early 'escapees'): Well thank you VERY much, Darrenh. I thought I'd got over my craving for a Stolly. And now you've gone and started it up again............LOL Esp for a Mk2 like that +1 there!

This belongs to a local welder, and while its not technically a 6 wheeler, it sure does convey the look of one I've seen this often when in shields but only the mini part looks ace with the trailer attatched

Not sure if this particular Landie is strictly 'RR', as a Td5 is more likely to be from after 2000. But hey, its a Land Rover - it could easily be an engine conversion! Anyway mini '5th wheel' and 'stack pipes' ... I'm not sure of the age of these camera shy Israeli Defence Force Land Rovers either, but the roll over protection alone must surely qualify them on the monster front! And if you'll indulge me one more time, technically you could get this done to a pre-Defender 90/110... I present the Kahn Flying Huntsman: I'm back on safe Retro ground with this one though. The heavily Land Rover parts bin derived Esarco is hardly common in its better known 8x8 form, so unfortunately this is the best pic I have of something which - for ease - I'm dreaming of replicating ... the Esarco 6x6: I've already added to the Perentie content but when it comes to Land Rover 6x6s, I can't believe "ArmyGeddon" hasn't made an appearance before now:
