Yeah, I'll have to do some research because avos are just too expensive! Yeah same here! I'm considering chopped springs to be honest! Mine was on cut springs when I got it. It was so low the exhaust clamps dug grooves in the dirt when I moved it out of the garage... EDIT: Pic really doesn't do it justice Yeah! I'm gonna try the 60mm method first, if not, I'll be doing the chop chop, just like i did on my first micra haha

Good luck with the exhaust bud, mine was a b1tch to fit! Ended up having a mate make it from scratch using an old powerflow system.

Totally agree the gaz and avo coilovers are very expensive, but desperately want some!... I have got some german FK 60mm springs and it sits very low on the front! But in the process of trying to buy shorter dampers as my original ones keeps bottoming out and its recommended anything lower that 50mm, you will need shortened struts.
Cheers mate.

I've decided I'm going to get all my parts on, build the zetec engine and get it running sweet, then I'll tackle the lowering situation once my wheels and tyres are on. May i ask which shorter struts you'd suggest?
