Totally agree... Here's to my recently acquired - 1990 (H) Ford Fiesta Bonus (MK3) 1.0 4Speed CVH. Only 47,000k and a very tidy example... Very, very minimal rust / scabs, zero rot, and over all excellent condition... Just installed some P&I shocks and springs for some 'lows' and I've some lovely 16" Ford alloys to go on when the weathers nice! Here she is the day I got her home!...

Wow - that burgundy Bonus is a honey! I would go low just on those steels for best looks - or perhaps band them. That's a rare steely isn't it? Rather than the teardrop ones I seem to remember that were on most Fezzas.

Rather than the teardrop ones I seem to remember that were on most Fezzas. Aye she's a clean thing. Yeh I believe possibly MK2 Fiesta steelies? certainly from earlier Fords. Sure the old boy I got the car off (who'd had them recently refurbed) said they were off a MK2 he had years and years prior... I've got some of these - 16" Escort GTI wheels, which look lovely (IMO) on a lot of Fords ; I might just get the steelies banded tho! It did cross my mind. I sell steel for a living so have customers who could do it for me - no doubt..............

"love conquers all" strange they made an account just to post that🤔
My first car was a Mk 3 fiesta, a white 1.3LX I think it was stolen in 2006, and replaced with a k11 Micra.

We’ve got two here, my boy gets his license May next year Red one will be his daily The mauve one which he bought after it sat for three years, is going to be modified a bit soon..if he doesn’t sell it! The mk3 is a great little car with plenty of potential

Cracking little cars, the wheel choice looks spot on on the red one, both look great though.

I had a wee 1.1 pop 5 door, that had been (very badly) converted to a pick up truck, when i brought it, it had MOT!!, i drove it about and actually loved it right up to the point i relased the MDF the last owner fitted to make a bulkhead just rotted away and i ended up leaving the project to scrapman......
one for my list is a RST or a Si always loved the look of the bumpers of the Si when the wee mans older i might have to look into building another pickup for a wee laugh

Many years a go I was given the job of buying and evaluating a number of the aftermarket chips for the fiesta Turbo, some were pretty good, some were down right frightening in their power delivery!
A pretty fun job for a 20 something just out of uni though.
