Local newspapers should be running a story on this one, they've run stories on the first two stolen from Chatham, the Dodge that went missing & the Thames 400E.
Sent the story of the South African Sport stolen in Wellingborough to newspapers in Northants to run the story in the papers there too.

The thing is papers don't seem to care much about a car being stolen, even from an elderly owner. But if that same elderly owner had a few thousand pounds stolen (the value of the car) everyone would be baying for blood from those "sick and heartless thieves".

Just an idea but I think if a certain make/model race meeting is on the horizon a 'honey trap' should be set up whereby a specific car is left somewhere in order to be stolen and then the thieves can be tracked as soon as the car moves...
I am sure that that will never happen but it's just a thought!
Again, I hope this car gets found as this is just becoming more than stupid now.

That's entrapment & not sure if it's permitted in the UK mores the pity

"from a legal standpoint, bait cars are not considered entrapment because they merely afford criminals the opportunity to steal the car; entrapment, on the other hand, constitutes law enforcement persuading or encouraging a person to commit a crime that they would not have committed otherwise."

TBH i found most papers struggle for content so will post any story , especially if its a sob story .
