2 things. You can shape that seat foam nicely with a flap wheel on an angle grinder. THIS NEEDS A FAIRING, then go and buy a biltwell helmet

I did toy with the idea of fairing. And this could happen when I'm bored with the look. After a lot of deliberating this in my head and decided it would look better without fairing. I think the fairing could add a look of "trying to hard" I also like th clean look, nothing's hiding, if you know what I mean As for a helmet. I bought a biltwell Gringo before i picked a bike hahah

I was going to buy a new rear tyre but my mate convinced me to keep the Dunlop death master on until it's finished. So I can do a burn out before replacing it. I bought a biltwell Gringo before i picked a bike hahah Nice lid. I have a black gringo with yellow visor but it took a 2 week long 20+ email battle with pictoral and video evidence which ended in me quoting distance selling rules and US consumer rights before they would admit that a biltwell visor should fit a biltwell helmet and actually fullfill their responsibility to provide me with a product that works. Still, its a nice lid.

Wyer returned freshly painted tank, seat unit and the mudguard, they've turned out better than I expected. I couldn't resist mocking it up (obvs taking pics too) and it's looking swell! I still have a few things I need to finish and rattle can before I built it up properly. I need to tidy the paint on the engine and will need to recover the seat (tighter) The only thing I might add is a 70's style decal on the side of the tank and seat unit. Here's some pics Think I'll wire brush the black bits on the engine, mask if off in the bike and heat proof paint, rattle can it black

Can't really remember if I bought a blue bike to match the helmet. But I know what your saying, I'm gonna get a blue moped when I've done this. The tail unit was a different colour so wanted them matching, the deal clincher was it was 100% free, with left over paint.

It's like that dress, the some folk thought it was blue and some see it as grey.... the bike is grey. Think it's the same grey mk4 RS turbo are. (Left over from another job)

Tidied the rear wiring Have a nut a hair cut. I was a tad close to the frame when I drilled the bottom light fixing Then with the left over heat paint from the echo, I masked the engine, wire brushed it and painted it, in situ Turned out nice again Then fitted it all back (finished the seat aka bought staples) That will do for tonight
