Never knew he built KITT! He didn't, it was designed by Michael Scheffe. George Barris updated the design for the later series. |

Munster Coach.  There used to be a museum in the Lake District called "Cars of the Stars" or something like that, we went once and they had this on display, I stood for ages staring at all the little details. It was ace but I think it closed. |

Barris was hired to build an upgraded version of the car for the show's third season with concept sketches from Scheffe.Happy to be corrected if you can find a contradictory link other than a UK tabloid newspaper!! |
