Someone referred me to the long, long, very long thread by TonyBMW last week on panel forming. I got part way through all the photos and went back this morning to continue but the photos do not show up. There's just a photobucket icon thingy. Photos posted by other forum members are fine. Photobucket isn't down either. Anyone know what's happened? Link to thread: retrorides.proboards.com/thread/70135/panelsI MUST have these photos accessible again!! What a great learning resource... Am about to embark on restoration of a '66 Fiat Abarth and need to learn how shape and fabricate various panels and pieces. His photos showed how you can form a lot of sheet metal without having to use very expensive and bulky shop equipment.

Tony's PhotoBucket account is too popular and therefore exceeded his PB account bandwith limit. It'll reset at somepoint or he can upgrade to a paid subscription, unfortunately no images until one or the other happens.

They should be back on now
I've had to pay to increase the bandwidth, I didn't realise the posts were still so popular

Yeah they are one of our most linked to things.
In fact they have got me thinking we should put together an Ebook of some sort, so this stuff doesn't get lost as time goes by.

One of the biggest problem with RR being so massive (becos full of cool, obviously) and the annoying habit of even threads you've contributed to dropping off the "Participated" button after a while... I'm so hopeless I sometimes can't even find threads I've written even when I can remember more or less what they were called Some kind of instant access for extraordinarily useful threads would be a great step forward; most other forums have a "Sticky" option for particularly useful threads to appear at the top of whatever forum category they're in?

When I see the photos of what you did, my anxiety level goes down and I think I might actually be able to get all my rust repairs and metal fab done... Have been trying to find some decent books but they just don't come close.
