Ah that sucks in a very similar state to mine. It's rare to find a solid one cheap though tbh. I look forward to seeing you tackle it though, I hope you will be working quicker than I do!

I know Fella i was so hoping it would be solid but ahwell its all experience i wouldn't count on it mate but I'm gonna try and get it done as fast as possible. had the unfortunate fun of having my car written off just after a month of driving so ive been tackling that along with trying to clear loads of space in my garage things are looking good for next years gathering though wether its painted or not Cheers Alex

Love a B, intersted to see wher you go with this. I have a 68 with a few mods, it's on here if you want to have a look.
I'm looking for a rubber bumper at the moment to upset the purists!

How did I miss this thread until now?! Always nice to see another B on here I'll be watching how you tackle the rust with interest, I need to get some motivation to get cracking on mine as its currently sat in many pieces! Also I think the jacking points are quite often taken off, I know mine has never had them in the time I've owned it

I have a 67 GT and will agree that they are nice looking cars. Mine runs a Classic Conversions triangulated 4 link with coil-overs in the rear.
I have done several shell restorations and once the front sheetmetal has been stripped, have the sills down to a two (long) day job assuming that you are going to be doing the full inner, castle, membrane and outer sill job. No need to bother with those pesky spotweld cutters either. You will need a drill and a sawzall.
If you want any advice or pictures let me know. I will start by telling you to buy the proper heritage parts and stay away from the Steelcraft reproduction stuff.

Thanks Very much Dude i appreciate your Help and i will take your advice and get the heritage parts you don't have any pictures of the sill replacement you could send me mate please i would really appreciate that. I'm not sure if the whole sill has gone yet as i haven't cut into it but the outer skin of the car is very crusty and so is the outer sill so I'm not sure weather i should just chop the sill and replace everything. also did you have to weld in door bars to keep the body straight or does the roof keep the body straightish? Thanks very much Alex
