Top work, nice to get a bit of recognition for your hard work.

I have a real soft spot for the 127, remember in the early 90s my mate's mum had one and we used to 'borrow' it. Tried to carry out a Vmax test in it, after a 2 mile run up we'd hit 65mph but we abandoned the run when the slightest pothole caused the car to leap like a salmon! Cracking little car, had so much character.

Just one question though, what the hell is the Fethard Silage Extravaganza? Cue joke about it being your sh*ttiest day out ever!

What a bizarre magazine - Tractors, Classic Cars and Classic bikes??

With a massive agricultural industry, classic tractors have a large following. I'd suspect just about every type, size and make of tractors was sold in Ireland over the last century or more. I was at one general classic show many moons ago and some of the tractors were unbelievable for the quality of the restorations and all home restorations too. Admittedly, not really my cup of tea but impressive all the same and even more so when you hear big diesels running sweet.

IVS is one of the few Irish classic car mags. They usually only feature straight restos (no modified stuff, they handle that in their quarterly Retro Classics), and most months feature three cars, a commercial vehicle, and at least one tractor.

As hairnet mentioned, most Irish shows outside of Dublin will have a sizeable number of tractor fans. My Trabi shares space in storage with an old grey Ferguson, a Fordson or two, and a little OTA.
