Don't know if I should cheer or cry - but - this thing certanly got my attention!! I first got aware of it when I came across this artwork a couple of months ago... Thinking "yeah, that's something fresh, someone should build it". Guess my reaction when I found this set of pictures of what appears to be anything but artwork. But a work of art. And apparently very much real! The artwork is apparently done by this guy here: beckkustoms.blogspot.de/And it looks like this guy built this mental creation - and it doesn't have a V8 in it - which is the best bit for me, personaly. I'm tired of big yank V8s in Model As. Anyway, there's no build thrad I can find, only this instagram feed: instagram.com/goomba_james/ & instagram.com/bittyboyz/

Strange why they bother with the aerodynamics when it has frontal area of a brick . Basically a kit car under a hotrod shell .
Only in America !

The guy that designed this is a New Zealander. His Cuda build thread was on here (at least a link). Really well thought out car.
The "rod" was designed as an exercise in marrying an F1 car to a classic rod style. Don't think he thought that it was ever going to be reality! It seems though that an American has taken the idea and run with it. The pro touring guy's must be all over this!

I first saw the design on Speedhunters a year or so ago, I'm amazed someone has built it. I think its more a stylistic thing than useable aero, though no doubt that rear wing would do something with sufficient treatment. Much like how many cars out there are aeroplane/warbird themed. This is a great idea! I kinda wish it was completely carbon fibre like the initial design.

Noice. I'd imagine he had a penny or three for the build budget.

I would loose the rear spoiler, but otherwise I love it. S2000 engine isn't a bad choice if you want a drivers focussed hotrod.

i imagine it was purely for lows + packaging constraints but that front suspension geometry is monumental fail of the roll centre order

I does make for that "ultra lowered look" though. And let's admit it: "looks" seem to habe played a bigger role in the creation of this car
