Why I’m not allowed to own two of anything anymore......

She goes to the hairdresser many times, why don't she use my electric clipper? Shoes ? ermmmmmm. woman and shoes, or handbags for that matter, what the f do you need more then 1 handbag for, and its not allowed to put a spanner in of course, noooooo the mobile phone has to go in there, together with some expensive artist supplies, why not a silicone casing and an eye pencil?
Then there is the matter of nails, being fake or real, have you ever seen how many tools those woman own and use for a simple thing as nails, why not use the side cutter when you have a hook on you're nail, just like all the grown ups do.
And i almost forgot the most important one, clothes ! why is it with multiple closet full of clothes they still claim they don't have anything to wear, honey ill have you naked any time of the day ! and if its nippy outside you can use my coverall , like all the grown ups do.
Then there is the woman with the clean house syndrome, we all know how it is, coveralls on, or other type of work clothes on, boots or shoes on and just before you want to go out for whatever car you tinker on, you realize that there is that urgent matter of nature telling you that ronaldo has to go out of the selection. Hence you want to go inside and make a run for the toilet, nooooo before you can do one step everything comes literally to a screeching halt, because that woman yells you have to take everything of because the house is clean. Why cant she clean up tomorrow ? like all grown ups do.
And that once in the month thingy, don't you let me go there, nothing good can come of that direction, its better to say nothing at all.

Currently I have 3 suzuki ignis sports. 1 breaker. 1 I'm selling. And my mum uses the other one.
1 corolla gt AE86. Middle of rebuilding.
1 Saab og 93 Convertible daily driver.
And a Lexus gs300 for sale.

Luckily I'm single. And still live at home. With a very understanding mother haha.

Not so much cars, but with me it was parts and tools ....i always used to get them delivered to work and fit them there or smuggle them into the garage when i got home ...... Nowadays if something 'appears' in the garage, i just say it came out of a skip ..........

Sounds familar   I had a car transporter parked around the back of our factory for a few months. The warehouse folk were fine about it - our bosses never saw it as they never went that far back into the off-road parking

I must be the luckiest guy on RR in that case. SWMBO has no problem with me buying cars.... Currently own *breathes* 1951 beetle, mazda rx7, 1979 westfalia, Datsun 510, Datsun B310, mitsubishi colt celeste gt, mx5, subaru brat, skyline r33 gtst, skyline r33 gtr,.... on top of those, in the past month, just bought an silvia S15 spec-R, skyline R32 GTR and a 1970 toyota CROWN.

Some are already for sale and some will be for sale someday.


...and then there's my motorbikes...

Seriously, I do have a recurring nightmare where I keep discovering cars I own and need to move due to loosing storage!!!

Happy Days – Think it was 2008 and last time VBM was (ab)used. Driven to and from Marham and full days track action, the only problem we had was overheating FPR’s so just kept swapping them every ½ hour. It was the last outing though – by the end of the day one of the front turrets and a CV joint decided they’d had enough!

I seem to remember Gillian raised it as we needed to get a mobile home in for the building works and there were 4 Monzas, including yours, amongst the collection of cars at the time. Your quick thinking worked as any storm clouds had blown away by the time we called in at yours on the way home.
It’s a good job that Gillian and Lisa never discussed it, as you didn’t mention my 3rd Monza was actually the twin of VBM and my “spares” car – the remains of which finally went last year.

This is both very funny and very worrying in a "please don't let my wife sell my cars/cameras/guns etc at the price I told her I paid for them" sort of way

I did that with green Alfasuds. One at home one at the work car park, until it started losing the bosses sense of humor, she at home never knew the other existed. It was handy as the reg numbers were very similar too.

Part of the reason for the "Opel Mongrel project" is it results in my being compliant again with "can't have two of anything rule" - after all a "Monza" is going to be a "Commodore" and the "Rally Monza" when finished will be a "Monza"
