Basically yes. Consider it a sport button, turns off 4th gear, lowers and stiffens the suspension, improves throttle response and opens the exhaust bypass flaps. Sent from might have made up some of that using proboards Really!!?? i always thought it was for engaging warp drive and stealth mode ! Looks like I've been miss informed again, think i'll stick with manual, it's less technical. sent from sitting in the corner in shame using pro-boards

So, with a little jiggery and some pokery. . Some almost plastidip. .. Some would call this dechroming but I prefer to think of it as emblackificating. New wheels Still the window trims to black but the overall effect is thus. Sent from my word it's mothers day, best sort something out sharpish using proboards

Looking good Phil, I agree with the emblackificating, should look great when finished. Some cars don't need chrome and that's one of them.

Loving the application of black to the Senator. It is looking mean and moody!
Some people wouldn't like it though...!!!

Well after some weeks sat under a tree while I did other stuff, I though I should give the old thing some love . . . but not in that way. A bit of scuttle panel titivaterising as the lacquer was lifting. Not great but better... A clean and some clay made it look like this... Loads of other stuff has happened but it's not necessarily for me to report. However, roadworthy Opel Monza numbers are increasing. Sent from I feel ill as I have superplague using proboards

It does clean up quite nicely. Once I've got the measure of what's left of the rear arches I will make a plan and get both quarters and the roof blown over. The lacquer has gone a bit funny on top.
It'll never be perfect but it's so tidy inside and it does drive well that it's a shame to let it get scruffy.
Mind you, the next big project will probably divert all my attention and resources......
