As far as I know he and his orchestra regularly perform in Limburg. That is correct! You're a fan,i presume? Since you said" awesome home" i took a few pictures yesterday. Since i live in it,it's pretty "normal" to me,but not so much to other people who only visit sometimes, including my parents. So i will start a thread tonight,on general board, and see what you think (and the rr-posse)!! I like your house-interior-garden-shed a lot, have read everything about your fleamarket finds...awesome and a fantastic attitude towards life-fun-pets... Gonna start working on the thread now!! Greeeetzzzz Grizzz!! The post is called: "Mancave, noooo!!manHOUSE yeah!!". See ya!

Hi all, I'm Rowan, based around Stratford Upon Avon. Interesting cars owned: Porsche 944... and that's it as the driveway is too full of my other half's interesting cars - an Elise, NA MX5 currently having a bit of a mechanical restoration and a Robin Hood kit car. Here to marvel at everyone's build threads and learn I might be the first person ever to have bought a Porsche because I couldn't afford a Peugeot (205 GTI). Once the MX5 is finished I'll be in the market for a project 205 though... At least parts will feel cheap(ish) after Mazda and Porsche prices.

Very much enjoy the postings on here most notably @grumpynorthener , grizz , @quatermass , @johnnybravo , georgeb , Frankenhealey , @thepollitt, ChasR and many many more. RR members have inspired me to get stuck in and hands on with cars hence the purchase of my Skoda & (is it/isn't it) Scenic. Really looking to see more cars, learn more skills, meet more like-minded motion potion enthusiasts. And thanks to @hotwire and bstardchild for making the forum & RRG possible (and no doubt many others behind the scene) Ramble over.

Hi my name is Julian I live in Colchester Essex Interesting cars I've owned in the past would be a Nova SR before they all got covered in GRP kits. A Dodge badged Commer van, a Ford Corsair that I didn't quite finish that I fitted a Ford 302ci V8, then a scratch built Model A pickup with Flathead V8 power I put that through the last of the SVA pickup tests. My dayly is probably considered retro as it is a 2000 E320 estate (petrol I have no time for heavy oil burners) however I chose it as its cheap I need a big car for carrying parts, children, camping gear, DIY stuff whatever really. I also only really like RWD and a minimum of 6 cylinders. But that's not what I'm here for my 1947 Ford tudor Sedan mild custom, that's where all the time and money goes. I do also have a Nova project which I am running out of time (patience) for as I thought I wanted to re-live my teenage car years but its not really me. Events wise I am restricted by money time and family commitments. I tend to stick to VHRA and NSRA events as my passion and interest is around 1930s-1960s american cars. This is the 47 at Pendine earlier this year.

Howdy all! New to the forums. A friend through another forum pointed me this way. I currently have a 1991 Infiniti M30, the USDM version of the Nissan Leopard, as well as a 1974 Datsun 620 pickup. The truck is on the back burner at the moment while I find parts to fix it (it was in a friend's dad's garage during the Joplin May 2011 tornado). I live in the US near the aforementioned town of Joplin (that's in the southwest part of Missouri) and work at a dragstrip that my father owns. My wife and I also own a trophy shop. I look forward to visiting the forums and looking at all the cool stuff you guys drive and wrench on!

G`day guys Just disovered this forum and thought it looked worth joining. So figured i might as well say G`day and introduce myself to you all. I`m a motor body builder by trade so always looking for new tricks to make work easier, spent a couple of hours reading the making body panels thread and theres plenty of great info in there. Always been a fan of the english fords and have owned one or three in my time and they all had their own personalities and foibles. Currently the stable houses a mkII escort and a mkII transit van. Catch you round the oards guys Cheers Troppo

Hi guys, I'm Jamie from central Scotland. Been looking for a decent forum to join that's not practically stone dead and retro rides seems to fit the bill. I'm currently about half way through a restoration on a 1992 Corrado G60, the 1.8 supercharged model. I didn't really intend on doing a complete rebuild but I put it off the road early last year to fix the engine and sort of never looked back. So far I have rebuilt the engine and supercharger and restored the engine bay. It's all back in and working again. Now I'm working on the underside and sorting out some minor rot issues. Once all that is done i'll be getting fully resprayed. I do all the work myself as I prefer it that way. We also have a 67 mk3 Triumph Spitfire and an Sunbeam Alpine GT and have owned lots of retro motors of the years. I'll post some pics of my recent rides below. All the best!!

Retro / Interesting cars owned:
'05 350Z GT4 (sold) '99 RX7 (current toy - not quite retro)
I also seem to have a bit of a problem with Saxo's. I am currently on my fourth. The first step to getting clean is admitting you have a problem, right?
My old man has a similar issue with Capri's, owning many over the years. He currently has a 2.8i that needs a bit of love so I may need to seek some advice in the future.
I've been lurking here for a while, enjoying the build threads and keeping my eye on the for sale section. I also attended the RRW'18, what a great event! I'm hoping to attend more events next year and I'm hear to generally learn about and admire the wide variety of retro metal on here. See you around!
