'state: that legislation won't be permanent in Paris. They're only trying to hide the fact that they've been effectively subsidizing the diesel cars for 3 decades, and that as foreseen we now have a fine particle problem.
In 1980 there were 18 million cars in France, including 730,000 diesels. Now, 19 million... diesels and 31 million cars. I haven't read a single newspaper stating the obvious so far.

I do what I want, within the rules. I won't drive through London, simple. I won't go there, I won't spend money there.
Milton Keynes used to be beautiful. In the 80s when it was being developed, you could walk through the biggest indoor shopping mall on the planet, walk out the doors with your lunch, and sit in a field by an oak tree to eat it. There was nowhere else like that.
Now, and greed reflects an end to that. Every conceivable bit of space filled in, red tape wrapped everywhere.
My answer? The businesses of central Milton Keynes no longer get my custom. It's that simple. Yeah it's a shame to see it dying. But when they made access so difficult with their road closing and access limitations, they pushed out convenience shops with high rent and subsequently ended up with a mall full of clothes.. the council have destroyed central Milton Keynes.
This is what ten years of liberal democrats gets you. The place is dying just like the oak tree they built around. They suffocated it. But I don't care, I don't go there. That's how I vote. It's the only way that works. I go to places I can access, small local communities, and I shop there instead.
London can have it's sheep, they can all drive highly recycled disposable cars to keep sales figures up and the politicians brownie points polished. I don't care. I won't go there. I go places where there's some culture.

I don't think you can argue that London doesn't have any culture...
