Right, after about 6 month of it just sitting about, i've finally decided to restore my Granada, just ordered some new springs, shocks, and trim for it, and picking another engine up for it soon, here's some pictures of it in all it's glory; A scan from years ago; And a few more, to get the ball rolling... And one i can always remember as a kid, looking at it, and thinking 'That is the best thing in the world.' Sure it was for sale recently too, at not too much of a stupid price... Come on then, your go!

Should be something of interest in this thread for you... retrorides.proboards.com/thread/102082/show-me-granadas-mk1s-mk2sI like your Granada very much! It is ruddy rare being on an S-plate in Jade Green with a Green interior...!!! Bloomin' 'eck...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved my Mk1 but it just needed more things doing to it than I had the time or the money for! The chap I sold it to treated it to some extensive TLC though so I am happy in that respect...!!! Good luck with your restoration, please do start a new thread in the 'Readers Rides' section if you haven't already.

I'd love a mk1 Granny. But then again there's quite a list of cars I'd really like and the missus has demanded that I down-size the fleet...

Wow,that 6 wheeler is still around? Was offered it years ago when I found it laid up at Safety Devices probably 10-12 years ago in a barn with a race prepped A40 bodyshell and a load of Camel Trophy bits we were buying as a company at the time.Sadly didn't have the funds at the time so it's definitely one that got away....

You may already be aware of this, my current MkI coupe ground up nut and bolt (litterally) restoration: retrorides.proboards.com/thread/138296/1972-granada-coupe-build-assembly. Won't be a surprise probably, but I love granada's. Mostly MkI, though if done right a MkII can look amazing as well. The Granada is one of very few cars that looked excellent in every body style available. I love the exterior colour of yours and it looks like it's a very clean example! What shape is it in now? And were you by chance the one who also has a blue MkI coupe in his garage?
