I to have an unhealthy love of pop ups, here are the ones I've owned and got pictures of.. My 1st GT4 My Starion, I would have another in a heartbeat if a good one came up for sale My MK3 Supra, I loved everything but its boatish handling My 4th GT4 CS best car i ever owned, yet don't regret selling it as i took it as far as i could My 5th GT4 owened as a runabout while the CS was having work done, sold to a friend. My MX5 another cheap runaround for a few months My 6th GT4 RC (on the left), bought to use as spares for the CS but was too good for that so sold it to a friend who still has it

fc rx7 That's an FB, to be pedantic. S3-era in the UK but American-DM by the look. But it has got some really rather epic aftermarket twin jobbie conversions going on. Want And it does have an FC bonnet scoop, the playful little minx Pop-ups are just for winners. They simply are. Couple of mine. Some more embarrassing than others My FB in the snow. Still working This sort of thing is, sadly, inevitable My old, sadly murdered-by-crashing FD. Best standard paint colour ever (IMHO). Shame it doesn't stick to the car for long The worst MR2 in the world. Evar. But the lights always worked, even if nothing else did. Still traumatised by that car The only thing that makes Probes better than MX-6s is pop-ups. And Viper stripes, clearly ...fitting Knighsports twins to a mate's FD Nooooooo, of course they never worked right...

I'm currently preparing this '88 Integra for the road.. Only driven it once, but have to say being red & pop-up lights other drivers give it more attention than my CR-X or Accord. Father has '71 Lotus Elan Sprint DHC . Grandfather had '64 Chevrolet Corvette (not this picture though) & '71 with big block (though didn't like the Pwr steer so kept the '64){not this picture either} & bought a Starion instead for regular use (Terrible pwr steering too but anyway...) While his 2nd wife (& ex secretary) had 2nd gen Prelude.

Great to see the Gen 5 Celica has been mentioned on here! I always felt they looked in proportion to the car when activated: However, the MX5 pop ups, although a great feature, always looked too big for the proportions of such a diddy car: However, this solution really works: * Trying to resist urge to go straight onto eVilbay to try and find a potential MX5 number 3...

No self-respecting futurist wedge would be complete without pop-ups! Here's my TVR 350i:
