Thanks for the pictures guys How good does this Fiesta look! Are they Cromadora (spelling?) wheels, maybe off an Alfa 105 seeing as they have 4x108 pcd too? And a couple more standouts for me: Awesomely understated. Totally badass looking.

Some hilarious grumpiness Hooray, an excuse for unnecessary arguments on the internet! Finally. It's been a long time coming. Tell me, has it ever considered to you that rather than being a tedious grump, it might be entertaining to try and enjoy your life a bit? Y'know, instead of being rude to strangers in the internet for no obvious reason? Just a thought.

(Incidentally, if you need some ammo for your next salvo of abuse, you could point out that I just used the phrase 'has it ever considered to you', which is, of course, nonsense. There you go, call it a freebie.)

Althou i kno diffrent offset have slightly diffrent design those on the red fiesta seem to be a lot diffrent.

An older set rather than the off-the-shelf 4x100 you can buy new. They look a little like these in terms of how the spokes continue to the rim: Also, this close up of the red Fiesta's front wheel looks to have the logo on it: Just to freak you out, how about a four spoke:

Haha this thread got hilarious fast. 'It's full of Escorts, look, there's an Anglia, Capri and Cortina being featured.' You can't complain that a magazine only features Escorts then prove yourself wrong by pointing out that in fact they feature a wide variety of stuff, because that just makes it look like you're upset that an old Ford magazine is full of old Fords. If I was you I wouldn't ever pick up a Mini Magazine, you may well find yourself upset by the amount of Mini content inside it. But anyway... that little Mk2 Fiesta is one of my picks of the bunch, understated yet still stands out and I'm sure a hell of a lot of work has gone into it than is immediately obvious. The arches in particular are a work of art, just take a moment to compare them to the ones of the car next door, properly cool car.

This makes me hnnnngggg - [/quote] Those vents down the back of the front arch are ace banded smooth steels are a touch too, although looking at it the brakes might not last long with them holding all the heat in!

Considering I own a MWB escort I would like to point out that the last CF mag I bought which was earlier in the year had a 1600 xflow in
I am sticking with my 1500 pre xflow as I like it and I wouldn't let a magazine decide how I should build my car.
With that said I'm gutted I missed the show as there is some awesome content looking at those photos

my point is that apart from the shell theres no variety.
& i notice the best response you can all give is personal insults, this dosn't surprise me with the cliques on this site. did i personaly insult you? this was your response to a stranger. obviously if i don't share your opinions i must b e a hater.
we can't all be shakespear in our topic writeing.
i prefer to read about vehicles & there owners who're useing thier brains to inovate in there builds, not just spend a fortune to follow the herd.
you can now add cheapskate to your insults.
this is why i read mags like ppc & retro cars(soon to be defunt unless we're lucky), just because i'm into mk3 on cortina's doesn't meen thats all i like, recent project involvement inc mk1 esc pinto,ha van resto, pinto efi hc viva, current projects inc fiat 126 resto, 24v firenza to name a few.

Sheffieldcortinacentre - before you get on your high horse about 'personal insults', you might want to think about extending an apology to Jarkle. You know he works for Classic Ford? How would you like it if he came on here and said 'that sheffieldcortinacentre, he's rubbish at his job, and here's a list of spurious reasons why...'?

this is why I read mags like ppc & retro cars(soon to be defunt unless we're lucky) Which is why you should show a measure of respect for Classic Ford as it is edited by Simon Woolley, a man so enthusiastic for a diverse range of vehicles in magazines that he started Retro Cars magazine, along with Bryn Musselwhite and Jon Hill (amongst others), who are both regulars in Classic Ford. just because I'm into mk3 on cortina's doesn't meen thats all I like, recent project involvement inc mk1 esc pinto,ha van resto, pinto efi hc viva, current projects inc fiat 126 resto, 24v firenza to name a few. Which begs the question as to why you go into a thread about a show run by a magazine you don't like and feel the need to spew forth your bile. Just ignore it and move on with your life. This thread would be better without it, I'm sure you would be happier not arguing with people on the internet, I certainly could do without it, perhaps another more suitable thread could do with your insight.

Definately 100% ATS classics, I sold them to him bought to fit to my (now sold) peugeot 205 Rallye, also the offset required spacers to clear the brakes, and this adds weight aswell as being illegal for racing. The fiesta has golf arches grafted on and uses spacers to get the 6x13 classics filling the arches, he's currently building a 2.0 zetec for it too
