This will depend on whether he got it from an online retailer. Sometimes the cost of sending back the cylinders does not really make it worth one's while if they were cheap in the first place (I recall Triumph Herald rear cylinders being under a £5 via a number of suppliers).

Cheers! Good news indeed.  Well, they are from ebay, and cost about 18 quid for the pair iirc. Having looked around at the time, I thought they were more expensive than cylinders for other applications, so at the very least, I will be sending the seller a message.. For both to be of such horrendous quality, I think it's worth of chasing up. If I send them back with Hermes or similar, I could still get a potential £15 refund. I will see what they say - if they even reply. |
