Not so keen on the phallic shifter but otherwise that is superb I'm really enjoying this aircooled platform under other stuff 'trend'. Please, please someone do it to a SAAB 95!

I haven't got a clue what you're on about OhEmDee, but I'm absolutely in love with that. Even without all the rear engined malarky it would still stand out as one of the best 924s that I've ever seen.
I still want a 924.

Although I'm not hugely fond of it, Seems a bit of weird one... But i can give them credit for the quality of the build , Looks very nice in that respect.
I do like the fact they went IRS instead of swingarm to be able to keep the wheels up the right way... This so easily could have been a poinlessly overcambered project...
Can anyone figure what the motor is? I'm hoping not just a 1600? Would be nice to know its not got twins on it just for show....

... I do like the fact they went IRS instead of swingarm to be able to keep the wheels up the right way... ... Errr, 924s have always been donor cars for IRS conversions on beetles as there were not enough automatic or super beetle floor pans to swap. errrr i know that. I'm not shy to the world of aircooled I was saying , That as they were going rear engine, they so easily could have chucked a chopped rear end of a swingarm bug in there to get the OH SO COOL mega camber...

I like the concept and the skill that have gone into this. The shifter is a bit Halfrauds IMHO and it must be noisy in the cabin?
Nicely done, very smooth.

.. and it must be noisy in the cabin? Probably not too bad - there's a proper partition in there.
