Parts prices are pretty high and pattern parts are not common other than filters etc. Might be possible to get a bargain but more likely to get a shed. If you plan to rip the running gear out and put something else in they might be worth a go though. TBH fitting the running gear out of something else is the only realistic option if anything breaks. Parts are, honestly, so hard to get and so expensive when they finally arrive it's just not worth it. quote] Pity, cos I'd really like an ugly pick up....[/Agreed

OK, guess then stay away is the better option...... just wondered about decking it, and maybe camo, or NATO green..... a bit like this. Love this car. That merc is awesome, LOVIN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!! Theres a Loadbeta next to the gym I go to it got some wierd alloy box on the back of it, will try and get a photo.

As pickups go they are wibblepoo My father in laws company made the bad move of buying 4 double cab 4X4's. The rust after 8 months had to be seen to be believed. Plus the things spent more time off the road than on They all went to auction in the end and the money he got back was about a quarter of what he paid for one of them!

With parts supply being as bad as it is, I can see these things totally disappearing within the next few years. Some people may see that as a good thing! I like TCC's idea of a TATA with Merc Evo running gear... slammed... stupid fast... It'd be a shame if they all disappeared, however shoite they may be!
