^^ Apparently it took *a lot* of work to get the DVLA to release BAD 105E. Sure someone here knows the full story... He discovered it was never issued, so requested it from the DVLA. Who being quite canny then send it to auction just in case they missed a trick, he paid just shy of £1000 for it after somebody else thought it read 'BAD LOSE'. I have N4 CKA on my daily because I like short plates and my dailies are always abused, G4 GGD on the Volvo and my girlfriend has B17 TUF on her horse lorry. We like them and they mean something to us. The best one isn't a private plate and came with a vehicle when bought, it's provoked a lot of people to comment and is the one on my Range Rover. ANU960L, cream anybody?

My favourite was many moons ago on a mk3 escort ghia. NOB 80X. I never caught the guy to buy it. Though the car didn't get scrapped with it so maybe still around. Then again, a mate had an xj6 with ABC 150K, Or ABC 15 OK that he did scrap. Then in the late 80s you could get FU2 for £200k with a free E-type! Years ago I had a mk5 Cortina Ghia with the reg NOB 110X. One of my mates always said it was a single O from being worth a fortune!

Not normally a fan of these, however i was sat behind an RS4 yesterday (sounded like the bowels of hell had been opened when he floored it - awesome sound) however when i eventually caught up with it, the plate read RS04 OMG.
Not a fan of text speak, however i thought it suited the car the bill quite well....

My two - on the 16v and the BRMotorsport converted 2.0 gtx (kit long since removed) I bought A20 six months after the engine conversion back in 91/92 for £125 from DVLA. A16 was purchased by the black cars original owner at the same time - Inters at TRL veterans both - for the same price. I like 'em.

Parked outside my local sexual health clinic. ...That's not true, but it would be much funnier.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

CRA8S would be very apt on something that only moves sideways, somehow I doubt the x type fits the bill!

My 318is came with this plate, which said to me 'A 1.8 Rip Off'. Glad to say it wasn't, it might have flaws but I think it's a honey
