Howdy guys, currently trying to raise some funds to rebuild my turbo so I'm offering a few bits for sale.
First up is a JVC Chameleon stereo. £50+postage. This is a cool bit of kit but I'm no longer going to use it, check this video out if you've never seen one of these units before (not my video by the way!)
I used it regularly for about a year and it was ace. The are been laid up for 12 months or so and I powered it up and the motorised action to allow a CD to be inserted seemed to stick a few times and reset, then it was ok. It worked fine apart from that so I presume it just needs to be used a bit to free it up perhaps? (I'll get a pic up to tomorrow if anyone wants)
Bee R rev limiter. £100 +postage. Awesome bit of kit and I really wanted to use it but I'd rather have a rebuilt turbo and needs must! These limiters cut the ignition signal rather that fuel supply, meaning you don't run lean when hitting the limit, they also allow you to set two limits - one at your redline and another that only works when you have the handbrake pulled up, meaning you can set it at lower RPM (ideal for drag launches). It also has the ability of easily adjusting the way it cuts the signal (ie.. fast small bangs/flames or slower massive bangs/flames!) and the real reason you want one of these are the flames! Check this vid (not mine by the way):
Finally I have a set of relatively useless wheels! I say a set, but there're actually only 3 as 1 of them exploded about 8 years ago! They're basically fit for making something cool out of like a table or something - the wheels and the tyres look ace, they're old genuine splitrim slotmags and the tyres are BFGoodridge Radial T/As so look the bees knees. The back wheels are 13x10j and the fronts are 13x8j but there is only one front wheel. I think the PCD used to be old Vauxhall (Viva etc) however they had been elongated to fit 4x108. I had them on my Capri many, many moons ago and they look so damned cool I've kept them thinking Id make something cool from them but they're just knocking about waiting to be taken to our new house when we move, and they'll just knock about then too! So, come take them away for £30? We'll see if anyone's interested!
That's it for now I think.
