[glow=red,2,300]SOLD[/glow] PRICE DROP - seen another car I like1963 Hillman Superminx Rare - (so i'm told?) column shift automatic gearbox, works as it should accuspark electronic ignition fitted rolling on ford KA steel wheels both front window mechs missing , but windows are intact and can be propped up to secure the car. converted to negative earth blow in exhaust downpipe / manifold join. It's definately rat look , but is solid where it counts. Went through last MOT with no welding , just a couple of rear brake cylinders. Only done about 100 miles since last MOT Taxed (free) and Mot'd (June) , ready to drive away. A nice useable rolling resto or use as is once the exhaust has been sealed. most likely Moving to a place with no garage and can't let it sit on the driveway in the elements, and need the cash for CBT/Bike test. any questions just ask. Any viewing welcomed, car located in Grundisburgh just outside Ipswich / Woodbridge Looking for around £700 upload imagescheers Will now consider any part ex

Hello Would it stand up to daily use? I've used it for a couple of weeks daily last summer when my saab died and it coped pretty well (apart from the starter motor, but it now has a brand new unit). with a bit of fettling to the exhaust and a good service it'd be alright I would imagine. It is old though so I wouldn't guarantee it. I'll be taking it for a spin at the weekend (weather permitting) to check everything is in order.

Are you the chap who sold my daughter a Herald a few years back? yes, saw the triumph at some shows last summer. I wish I'd never sold that.

did wheels bolt straight on ? Yep, straight on. It's got drums front and rear , dunno if they'd go over Hillmans with discs.

i own a 63 super minx myself,if serviced and with electronic ignition they will run all day, they have a good heater too!!!. the hillman is the same pcd as ford ,so ka,fiesta, escort wheels fit with no adaptions, like early fords some had drums some had discs.
i think you have under-valued your super minx, someone should grab it quick, non runners with no mot get 6 to 900 on e-bay and in the cc papers, parts are still easily available, and not priced through the roof like fords, , ps some interior photos would help

If you know of anyone/ or hear of anyone looking, point em' my way.
