I think the front could do with being a bit lower, and maybe spacers, but they look incredible.

Needs to be lower all round, those rear tyres need to at least tuck a little. It's a bit 'stilted' at the moment.

I didn't think I was going to like them but for some reason on your Capri they work very well.

cheers, fraid the backs goin nowhere, i like me some rake the front will settly by about an inch, i am not one for all this "stance" rubbish thats floatin about at the mo, yeah, lets lower my car so it scrapes over every slight hump and knocks the suspension trigonometry out so the car doesnt handle properly

Self whore all you want. That thing is pure win. Althou it seriously needs LOWS! And don't even think about unboltin the arches they work great with all the rest of the un-needed sporty add ons.

Sorry but your last comment makes no sense. A lowered car can handle as good or better than a stocker. Just needs tobe done properly. Rake is fine thou, mighty fine i might add. But for the overall proportions to be right needs tobe well low too. hahah, just kiddin, or am i?

yes, lowered properly, this is -2" from standard and stiffer springs, or will be -2" from standard once they settle, but much more than that and its gonna throw the trig out, i am not saying all lowered cars handle worse, just when people lower them a stupid amount so it looks "cool" it often just ruins the handling, the Capri is bad enough as it is, i don't want to make it worse by knockin out the suspension trig, i do intend to fit coilover, adjustable top mounts and TCAs which means i will be able to fiddle about with the sus a little and set it up properly

I wasn't suggesting a stanced style. I have had loads of lowered cars over the years and all went over lumps, bumps and speed bumps without harming the car. If everything is set up fine there is nothing wrong with lowering. Cars were being lowered long before all this stanced business.

This is only the second Capri I've ever seen that I'd own myself. The other being a Mk1 Brooklands. Very very nice, when the front settles down a touch it'll be perfect, and I love the arches too. They give it a slight Datsun 260Z type feel, and that can only ever be a good thing! :-)
