LOL factory panel gaps set with a feeler gauge that consisted of a rizla paper, the packet and a blokes fingers. As long as you can get one or all in the gaps simultaneously, at either end, then its good. Fixed. That's so the mice can get it and fill the sills with seat foam, grass, insulation tape, bits Chewed from the wiring loom, werthers original wrappers and the remains of that Annie Lennox cassette that fell under the passenger seat in 1997. Trufax. Abingdon wildlife conservation. That and the panels were pressed in Swindon, probably by someone's webbed hands.. *sorry Swindon, love you really.* *maybe.

when i was working on my B a friend stuck a hand in the wing and yanked out a massive newspaper nest that looked at least a decade old. Plenty of space for a small family of rodents and based on how most people drive B's they'd never get thrown out.

It had never occurred to me to check how the wings are held on mine.
Thanks to this thread, I will be sure not to check and just tell myself it's all ok.
