Piece of angle iron and sledgehammer works fine every time for me, even running off road tyres glue to the bead... How's that work then? All I imagine is the angle flying off and smacking me in the face as I whack it one - how do you hold it in place? |

When I worked with HGVS I used the angle iron method, rest it on the bead with 1 flat between bead and rim and hit it with a sledge hammer.
