Ripped you off? I'm not saying they were perfectly straight, they were £80 wheels with obvious heavy curb damage (all shown and described in the add). Its safe to assume that they will need some balancing but what wheels don't? What I'm disputing is that they were so buckled they couldn't be balanced up because they obviously were balanced up because they ran fine on my car.
As I said in the text I never had any reason to balance them because I only used them for the tyres, once warn they were taken off and put in the garage. The add from the person I bought them off is still on here showing them in the same condition I sold them to you (minus some tread). If I had any reason to believe they were badly buckled I've of just weighed them in rather than sell them on, but as they ran fine why would I think they were buckled? I've sold shed loads of stuff over the years on various forums and never had any issues what so ever and I've always been as honest as possible, plenty of people on here will be able to vouch for that and many more on other forums.
You messaged me saying you would pay the £80 asking price and collect asap, and then as soon as I tell the others wanting to come and buy them that they were sold you start trying to get money off because of how far away you were. Then once you got here you tried to get a tenner knocked off (using your bestest "oooh, thats going to be a problem" tyre kicker routine) because I pointed that a 99p center cap was missing (also shown in pics in the add)... this was just after you told me you weren't interested in cosmetics cause you were just gonna chuck some tyers on them and drift the off them. All this and the fact you were trying to tell me that wheels that had not long come off my car and drove fine were so buckled they couldn't be balanced and were only any good for scrap so you wanted a refund, just led me to the assumption it was just another way for you to get money off. That may seem far fetched but I've been in this game a long time and seen people play such tricks.
chucking stuff at a car, whats wrong with knocking on a door and saying you have a problem?
also I don't see how its my loss, when I sell the car I'll chuck the kit back on and ask a little more for it when I sell the car, at least that way I won't have a deal with jokers offering me £30 for it and dealing with people that claim I ripped them off badly but are still willing to buy stuff off me again. It just doesn't add up, if someone had ripped me off I sure as yell wouldn't be buying more stuff off them
