That truly deserves the title of mind-blowing! Absolutely top quality rod, not only beautiful but also looks to be well engineered from what I've seen. I certainly like the use of fish plates on the chassis, it should be nice and strong!
Doing the whole chassis in polished stainless just shows that the man is a glutton for punishment! In the old days they would've just used mild steel and chromed it. This is much better though.

I think I posted this years ago, gonna be superb when its done. Yeah must have been a couple of years ago, because I distinctly remember this picture: And someone pointing out why would you drill those lightening holes that close to a sharp corner like that? Look how little material there is between the edge of the large hole and that corner, and that's the front spring perch... It's a fair point, but yeah, it does look good.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Can't find the original thread, but remember it being an interesting discussion from a function vs form point of view

i was thinking that tbh even a stainless chassis isnt ideal as it will fracture through time and the tigs undercut look more for show than go ,
ultimately its going to be an awesome machine though you cannot fault the guy for attention to detail and i recon it must have cost a bit too
