Reminds me oh-so-much of the '57 and '58 Packards.
Not the styling, of course, but the way it came to be. Packard and Studebaker merged in the early '50s and the final Packards were obviously re-badged Studes different grilles and trim.
Packard purists dismissed them as "not real Packards". Stude fans said "True, but they're very nice Studebakers."
The "Packabakers" make interesting collector cars today. I'll bet the "Saabarus" eventually go the same way.
