I reckon it looks more like a render than a photoshop a bit like the mini. Make a 3d model on the computer, pick what you want bits to be made out of and carefully put together, tell the light where you want it to come in from and then tell the computer to 'render' the image and it try to make it photorealistic.



I will not argue though that both of them are very impressive, wish I could make them that well.

Also I'd like to add a picture of a BMW but I can't find it, was on here not too long ago, original photo taken from straight ahead, then car was given lows etc. I will try looking for it again later, unless some kind soul knows which I'm on about and posts it

Jet engine and propshaft, something doesn't add up.

Helicopter engines are shaft-output and have been used in cars and bikes - so it's not inconceivable.
