I passed my test at instructors Volvo FL6 or FL250, not remember witch one it was. Here in Finland You need own license -and now days own test to each on- to motorbike, passenger car, lorry, trucks, bus, etc. And after I pass my test, I'm not allowed to drive over 80km/h (60miles/h?) but that law was removed end of my passing year First I drove my dad's -85 Corolla stw (KE70) and my first own car was -83 Honda Prelude.

My Nova 1.3SR, had it ready to go before my test having worked part time to save for it and then spending the proceeding 6 months restoring it... That day of passing was a good day! Was 12 years ago now!

This... Went down the pub to celebrate the evening of my test and lightly crashed the car on the way home having consumed way too much alcohol.... got towed home by a kindly man in his MK2 Cortina on a 3ft long tow rope at speeds upto 80mph that was the quickest that car ever went with me behind the wheel

Drove my mum's KA for a bit, was a hoot. First real car was a very dangerous mk3 fiesta. Then one day I ended up on ebay with the mindset of "What was that car John's brother used to drive?". Bought the first one I found for £300 which is the grey saloon in my sig. And my retro car history was born

This: Bought from 5 minutes away for £300. I added lupo steels with neon hubcaps, stickers, desmo roof rack (cost £5!) and some red primer patches. Lasted 2 years, despite being a bit of a shed, but was mechanically perfect. I had big plans for a massive restoration, but it met its end shortly before I wanted to start the work. Still miss it. It went up to birmingham after I sold it, but i've never seen or heard of it again according to the dvla its still on the road , but ive not seen it around

I've seen a bunch of people overhauling a complete wreck in 60 minutes on TV, so why can't I do it in 3 weeks?
