I really, really struggled to get my turbo bike running properly on carbs
I could get it to run OK on boost and OK on light throttle.
The transient fueling as it came on boost I could never get right, tried different needle heights, pitot tube and no pitot tube, different air corrector jets, referencing the boost from different places, every main jet under the sun.
It may well of been down to the amount of overlap my bike ran (FZR1000 exup) as other bikes like the Suzuki Bandit seem to blow through the carbs fine
In the end I used Suzuki GSXR750 throttle bodies and megasquirt, it made an extra 20bhp for the same amount of boost
