change in circumstances means i may have to let one of my cortinas go. This car has had one previous owner from new, shes not a trophy winner but is pretty tidy, it's got 12 months MOT it's never been welded (and doesn't need any!) interior is like new, with no speaker holes, or cracked/ damaged/ worn trim. Comes with factory bronze tinted glass and it's original factory michelins (these passed the test but i may change them any way for peace of mind.)
Body wise theres no rot, but there are a few blisters coming through here and there, and a few dints. All in she's a good survivor, not a badly restored turd full of filler. She's a 1.6 gl (cheap insurance) in fetching hearing aid beige. You could keep her as is, or slam it 3"on banded steels.
It had been in storage fot 15 years when i got her, and needed tie-bar bushes, front calipers, rear shoes+cylinders, and a master cylinder. She's also had a full service, new cambelt, fanbelt and been converted to electronc ignition. She may not have to go, just wondering what she would be worth? or what interest she'd generate.
